Flexure (Linguistics) › Definition and Meaning

The words can be altered through morphemes. In the field of linguistic phenomenon it is known as bending. In other words, words have a number of potential defects and to this end takes binding inflections to a base is needed.
Inflections normally required and form a closed pattern, since there are no infinite inflections. In summary, the bending is one of the processes that create a new word.

Four simple examples bending

1) The word "white" has a base, specifically blanc. From it we need a bending gender and number. So with an "a" and "s" the word white is formed.
2) the word "master" we have a lexeme or base (maestr), plus an inflectional morpheme male.
3) The verb forms also have the same process. Thus, the form "sing" is composed of the lexeme sings over the inflectional morpheme estuary.
4) The verbal forms "bring, bring suit and" have the same lexeme, but each has a particular inflectional morpheme.

Not to be confused bending Bypass

To form words, two different processes, flexion and derivation. In the first case a new word is created, while in the second it a new term occurs. Thus, in lead it joins a base or with a derivative lexeme morpheme.
From white adjective you can create an abstract quality by adding a derivative noun (URA) and thereby form the term whiteness.

The two ways to form words are due to the fact that there are two types of morphemes: derivational and inflectional

In the first type information is added grammar and can be inflectional morphemes or morphemes nominal verbal inflections. Instead, derivational morphemes provide a change in meaning and this causes an adjective becomes a noun (e.g., black and white) or prefix is inserted (for example, the pre prefix and the word say how the term predict ).
The study of flexion and derivation is part of the morphology, one aspect of linguistics, which is the discipline that studies the structure of language. In short, morphology focuses on the structure and formation of words and linguistic studies the structure of a language.

Derivation (linguistics) › Definition and Meaning

In the field of linguistics the concept of derivation refers to one of the processes of formation of new words. This process has a standard overall: bonding a base or lexeme and a derivative morferma.
It should be borne in mind that different words come from the same primitive word. Thus, all the words that come from a primitive are known as derived words. Thus, with the word primitive sun, I can form a series of words derived as scorching sun, sunlight, solar, sunny, etc. For the referral process possible it is necessary to apply a set of rules.

Derivation rules on verbs, nouns and adjectives

In the case of verbs, the derivation is based on binding of a suffix and a lexeme. Thus, in the form verbal "dream", the lexeme "are" is accompanied by the suffix "ado" participle. On the other hand, when the verbs are finished in "e" or "i" lexema, these two vowels disappear in the derivation (eg, "squeak" becomes "chirp").
Regarding nouns and adjectives, the branch also has its rules. So with the lexeme "home", "a" disappears if we form the word "house". Similarly, if the "fool" we add the adjective derivational morpheme "age", we have the word "folly".

Other ways to form words

The derivation is not the only system to form words, since there is also the bending, the composition and parasíntesis.
The bending is to add an inflectional morphemes to a lexeme. Thus there are inflections of gender and number (for example, from the Yellow lexeme, we can incorporate the inflectional morpheme and we as yellow word).
The composition not part of the union of a morpheme to a base or lexeme, but is to attach more than one base or more than one word. Thus a compound word (for example, umbrellas, lightning, skyscraper or noon) is obtained.

In parasíntesis words are formed by combining the first composition and the shunt

In the case of the word "motorist" is a composition ( auto + mobile) while a derivation, since the suffix "ist" is added. Furthermore, the parasíntesis occurs by the simultaneous binding of a prefix and a suffix, such as the word "inasumible" (comes to assume, but with the prefix "in" and "ible" suffix becomes "inasumible ").

filament › Definition and Meaning

This term comes from the Latin word in filamentum, literally set of threads. Therefore, all body or tissue is formed by a group of wires together form a filament.

The muscles of the human body

Our unit locomotor allows us to move and move. For this we use the bones and muscles. The bones are hard and rigid and are joined together. Instead, the muscles are soft and flexible.
Different muscles, whether voluntary or involuntary, are formed by filaments. These fine structures allow contraction and muscle relaxation. The muscle fibers that are bonded together form filaments proteins.

electricity

If we consider a simple light bulb, this object is formed by threads or filaments inside. Thus, for a light bulb provides the following process is required:
1) turn the bulb with a switch and
2) the electric current reaches the filament copper or nickel when heated and emits visible radiation. Accordingly, the visibility that a bulb is produced by the action of the filaments.

Textile fibers

Different fabrics we use to dress or to decorate can have a natural or synthetic origin. In any case, it is necessary to employ a set of threads or filaments. To make this possible automated systems currently used for spinning tissues. In some industrial processes textile yarn is produced from the technique of continuous filament.

In the universe

In the observation of the universe astronomers and cosmologists employ the idea of filament to refer to floating structures in the form of line and thus speak solar filaments, constellations or groups of galaxies. All these formations in the universe form a compact build. On the other hand, scientists also refer to the mesh of filaments that connect the different galaxies.

In conclusion the article

The term filament provides a general definition and a particular explanation based on what the context of the language in which it is used. Something similiar happens in other words, as substance, accident, shape, structure and many others.

Isotonic drinks › Definition and Meaning

Also known as sports drinks, isotonic drinks have a chemical composition which enhances the absorption of water. This implies that to consume the body recover more quickly when fluid loss, producing sugars and salts minerals after intense exercise.
Most of them have a format liquid, but some are powdered and then mixed with water. In the market there are brands with different flavors. They can be found in supermarkets, drug stores or specialty stores for athletes.

Understanding the composition

The notion of Isotonic refers to the osmolarity of the liquid, ie the same concentration of our blood osmolarity. This equivalence enables the absorption liquid is optimal.
An isotonic sports drink has to contain water, sodium and sugar in the following ratio: sugar between 4 and 8% (in 100 ml of water must be between 4 and 8 g of carbohydrates, such as glucose or fructose), and Moreover, between 46 and 112 ml sodium. These data can be checked on product labels.
These drinks provide for recovery of electrolytes lost with exercise through sweat. Therefore, it is electrolyte drinks. Despite its benefits for sporting activity, they should not be eaten as a substitute for water.

natural Isotonic

Considering that water, glucose and sodium are the basic elements, you can be made of such beverages and home completely natural. Thus, introduced into a container 900 ml water temperaturaambiente, is added 100 ml of lemon juice, a teaspoon of salt and sodium bicarbonate. Three tablespoons sugar are added and all ingredients are mixed until dissolved.

Do not confuse sports drinks with energy

It is two very different drinks. Energy are high in caffeine, so when practicing sports is advisable not to take them, as they accelerate the metabolism. Instead, isotonic themselves are healthy exercise.
Experts recommend consuming this product during the year and to finish it, but should not be used like a soda, because they have a high sugar content.

conventillo › Definition and Meaning

In the late nineteenth century and early twentieth Argentina they reached a large number of immigrants, mainly Italian and Spanish, but also Poles, Syrians and Lebanese. Many of them settled in Buenos Aires and less in Montevideo and other cities. When the migrants arrived in Buenos Aires the government Argentine facilitated them temporary accommodation for a week and after this initial stage, every immigrant had to seek some kind of housing. For this very humble houses were built and where the kitchens and bathrooms were communal.
In principle they were called tenements, because their inhabitants had to pay rent. Over time the popular genius coined a new term to refer to these houses and tenements were called.
The term conventillo made sense, because the houses resembled a convent structure, ie, a set of cells structured in galleries and a central courtyard.

Daily life in a tenement

They lived in these houses single men and families of workers who came from different countries. No running water or electricity and with some frequency episodes of cholera and other infectious diseases are given. Sometimes, some migrants could not pay the rent and the police had to dislodge them and when this happened the people of conventillo resisted with some violence.
The tenements were a kind of Tower of Babel of the lower classes. In these different languages they were heard and there was a tense coexistence between different customs and cultural traditions.
Despite the terrible conditions of life, it breathed an atmosphere of solidarity among its residents. It should be borne in mind that the socialist and anarchist ideals of Europe came to the tenements and there were born the first workers ' associations in Argentina.

Tango, lunfardo and sainete born in the tenements of Buenos Aires

In the tenements it was creating a very fruitful popular culture. In fact, there tango, lunfardo or sainete emerged. In principle, representatives of the official culture Argentina expressed their rejection of all but over time the bonaerenses were incorporated as a symbol of their identity culturally.
In this regard, it is worth remembering that in the history of theater Argentine work most represented is precisely "The Conventillo de la Paloma" written by Alberto Vaccareza, playwright born in the neighborhood of Almagro in Buenos Aires and was a close friend and collaborator of Carlos Gardel, the father of Argentine tango.
